How do I apply foundation?

Come on lets admit it...doesn’t take a rocket scientist to apply foundation

However, it does make a difference how you apply it to create a flawless finish!

Use these simples steps and tips to help:

First, make sure your face is clean. You can use a non-alcoholic toner to get off dirt and oils. This will make a huge difference on how the foundation sits on your skin.

Second, moisturizer your face--- only where needed. Yes, that’s what I said, “Only where needed.” You don’t need to over moisturize your skin. Moisturize the area’s that are dry. Wait until the moisturizer is settled into your skin before applying foundation. Foundation will adhere better to your skin if the moisturizer is completely dry.

Lastly, apply the foundation. I take a few drops and dived it up between forehead, cheeks, neck ,and chest.  Blend the foundation in the same direction as facial hair with either your fingers, a wedge sponge or foundation brush.
I don’t’ like the traditional foundation brushes. They leave streaks. I like to use a brush that has two different hair sizes like this Sephora brush:

Remember:
*Add more foundation or concealer where you need more coverage.
*You can use a primer if you want to fill in fine lines or large pores and for longer wear.
*If you have Freckles and/or Sun Spots use a green or purple concealer or primer to neutralize the hue.
*If you have Rosacea, Acne, Scar, Bruise, Veins Spots use a green or yellow concealer or primer to neutralize the hue.
